This EasyPro three-quarter-horsepower rocking-piston compressor is the air supply from the Bubble Pro Max XL subsurface aeration system, available separately. It is the largest of the three Bubble Pro compressors and is built for the continuous duty that diffused aeration requires, running without interruption rather than cycling. It will also drive other diffused-air setups, which makes it a practical choice for replacing an undersized unit or expanding an existing system to more diffusers.

The compressor operates oil-free. There is no crankcase oil to top off or change, and no possibility of oil migrating into the airline and reaching the diffusers. Mounted on shore, it keeps every electrical component out of the water — only compressed air travels down the tubing, which is the reason diffused aeration is the usual choice for ponds used by swimmers, livestock or stocked fish.

Output is rated at 6.0 CFM against the back pressure of a 10-foot water column, the highest of the Bubble Pro compressors and the figure to work from when matching a compressor to diffuser count and pond depth. Two voltage builds are available: 115 V drawing 3.6 amps and 230 V drawing 1.8 amps, so the unit can be matched to whatever service is already run out to the shoreline equipment pad.

Internally the unit is specified for long intervals between service. Components are die-cast aluminum, which keeps the weight manageable for one-person mounting, and the cylinder carries a hard coating to stand up to constant piston travel. The bearings are permanently lubricated and need no maintenance, while the piston seal is designed as a replaceable wear part so the compressor can be refreshed instead of retired.

Motor & Power

  • Compressor type: Rocking piston, oil-free
  • Horsepower: 3/4 hp

Ordering

  • Manufacturer part number: 44062 (115 V) / 44063 (230 V)
  • Used in: Bubble Pro Max XL subsurface aeration system

  • Highest output of the Bubble Pro compressors at 6.0 CFM against 10 feet of depth
  • Oil-free rocking-piston design with no oil changes and no oil in the airline
  • Built for continuous 24-hour operation rather than intermittent duty
  • Die-cast aluminum construction keeps the unit light enough to handle and mount
  • Hard-coated cylinder stands up to constant piston travel
  • Permanently lubricated bearings and a field-replaceable piston seal
  • Available in 115 V and 230 V to suit the power already at the equipment location
  • Direct match for the Bubble Pro Max XL, which uses this same compressor

No fixed warranty term is published for this item. It is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if it arrives faulty or does not match what you ordered, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Normal wear and consumable service life are not covered, and neither is damage from installation outside the stated compatibility or operating conditions.

How much air does this compressor deliver?
It is rated at 6.0 cfm at a 10-foot depth. because output drops as depth and back pressure increase, the depth a rating is quoted at is what makes two compressors comparable.
How many diffusers will it run?
In the bubble pro max xl this compressor supplies four diffuser stations through four separate airlines. for a custom array, match total diffuser demand against the 6.0 cfm rating at your pond's depth.
Does any part of it sit in the pond?
No. the compressor mounts on shore and only the airline is run out to the diffusers, so nothing electrical goes in the water.
Is there oil to maintain?
No. it is an oil-free design, so there is nothing to change and no risk of oil being carried down the airline.
Which voltage should i order?
Choose based on the service at the compressor location. the 115 v version draws 3.6 amps and the 230 v version draws 1.8 amps, and both deliver the same air output.
What is the main wear part?
The piston seal, which is made to be replaced easily. the bearings are permanently lubricated and require no servicing.
