The Mooring Line is a braided nylon rope sized for holding a floating pond unit in position. It measures 5/16 in. in diameter and comes in a 35 ft length or a 50 ft length, so it covers the usual run from a shoreline stake, dock cleat or anchor point out to a unit sitting in open water.

Nylon with a braided construction is the standard choice for this job because it holds strength while staying flexible enough to handle on the water, and it tolerates continuous immersion through a full season. The rope serves either role an owner needs, mooring a unit to a fixed point on shore or anchoring it in place out on the pond.

It is intended for mooring or anchoring a fountain, an aerator, a Slinger De-Icer or a Floating AquaSweep. The listing covers the rope only, with no cleats, shackles, stakes or anchors included. If your run is longer than 50 ft, other lengths can be arranged on request.

  • Mooring or anchoring a floating fountain
  • Mooring or anchoring a pond or lake aerator
