Product Description

The MotoTec 36v Pro is the first bike in the Pro line, built for riders who have outgrown a fixed-speed machine and want the bike tuned around them. A 1200 watt rare-earth neodymium motor feeds a chain drive, and the 36 volt 10 amp-hour lithium pack keeps weight down while stretching ride time to roughly 5 to 11 miles depending on rider weight and terrain.

What sets the Pro apart is that three separate variable knobs control how the bike behaves. One sets top speed anywhere between 5 and 18 mph, one caps motor output between 10 and 35 amps, and one adjusts throttle response from a soft one-second ramp to a sharp 0.2 second hit. In practice that means the same bike can be set up as a docile first machine and then progressively sharpened, instead of being traded in.

The chassis is set up for a driveway, a backyard or a dirt track. Two hydraulic front shocks give 110 to 120 mm of travel over a 2.75x12 knobby front tire, with 40 mm at the rear and a 3.00x10 rear tire, all on aluminum rims. Disc brakes work at both ends, the padded single-rider seat sits 24.4 inches up, and the handlebars slide forward and back to fit the rider. A battery meter and keyed ignition are standard, and the 4 to 6 hour charger is supplied.

Warranty

This unit is covered against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery. MotoTec does not publish a fixed warranty term for this model, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if something arrives faulty and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains and batteries are not covered, and neither is damage from racing, jumping, collisions, improper assembly, modification, or riding beyond the rated limits.
