MotoTec 48v Pro Electric Dirt Bike 1800w Lithium - Recreational Off-Road Use Only

The 48v Pro is the mid-tier machine in MotoTec's Pro dirt bike range, stepping up to a brushless rare-earth neodymium motor rated at 1600 watts on 48 volts. Brushless construction means fewer wear parts than a brushed motor and cleaner power delivery, and the taller 48 volt system pushes the top end to 25 mph. A 48 volt 13 amp-hour lithium battery keeps weight in check and returns up to 9 miles per charge in good conditions.

Two variable knobs let the bike be matched to the rider. One sets top speed anywhere from 5 to 25 mph, the other controls how quickly the motor answers the throttle, from a soft one-second ramp down to a sharp 0.2 second response. A new rider can start at the bottom of both ranges and work up without swapping bikes.

Compared with the 36v Pro, the 48v grows in every direction: a 40 inch wheelbase, a 27 inch seat height, 12 inches of ground clearance and larger 2.75x14 front and 3.00x12 rear knobby tires on aluminum rims. Two hydraulic front shocks and a rear shock handle the bumps, disc brakes work at both ends, and the final drive runs a 10T/76T gear set on a 63-link 219H chain. A battery meter, keyed ignition, adjustable handlebars and the 4 to 6 hour charger are all standard.
