Product Description

The MotoTec Diablo is a seated fat-tire electric scooter built around a 48v 1000w rear hub motor, so drive power goes straight into the back wheel instead of through a chain. That layout gives it strong pull away from a stop and enough sustained torque to keep moving on loose ground, gravel paths and gradients rather than only flat pavement.

Power comes from a 48v 13ah lithium-ion pack that recharges in roughly six to eight hours and covers somewhere between 10 and 20 miles depending on rider weight, chosen speed and the surface being ridden. A two-stage speed selector lets the rider cap the scooter at 15 mph while learning it or open it up to its full 25 mph, and a separate economy mode trims consumption when the goal is distance rather than pace.

The chassis is high-tensile steel with an ABS resin foot deck, dual front shocks and 14x6.00-10 tires that soak up broken surfaces. Braking is handled by discs at both ends. A wide padded saddle sits 30 inches off the ground, and the rider gets key-start ignition, a battery gauge, front and rear fenders and LED lighting front and rear.
