Product Description

The MotoTec Free Ride is a folding stand-up scooter with genuine off-road ability, built on an aluminium alloy frame and driven by a 48v 600w rear hub motor. Putting the motor in the wheel means torque arrives immediately and there is no chain or belt to service, which suits mixed riding across pavement, dirt tracks and packed trails.

A 48v 13ah lithium-ion pack keeps the weight down to 22 kg while covering 25 to 35 km per charge, with a four to six hour recharge. Two selectable speed settings let the rider cap the scooter for cautious riding or run it to its 25+ mph top speed, and an LCD display reports current speed and distance travelled.

Suspension is fitted at both ends and paired with 85/65-6.5 air-filled tires, a combination that keeps the deck settled over ruts and broken tarmac. Disc brakes front and rear handle stopping, and the scooter folds down to 1140 x 240 x 480 mm for transport. The industrial-looking frame carries twin headlights, a rear brake light and LED strips along the sides of the foot deck.

Warranty

MotoTec covers this unit with a 30-day parts-replacement warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos of the issue to start a claim.

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains and batteries are not covered, and neither is damage from racing, jumping, collisions, improper assembly, modification, or riding beyond the rated limits.
