AM120

The MyGrid 10K Gen 2 is a whole-home system rather than a portable unit: 10,000W of continuous output at 120/240V split phase (or 120/208V two of three phases) backed by a 10,496Wh lithium iron phosphate battery. This package adds 440W bifacial solar panels and a 350W wind turbine, so the system charges from both sources as delivered.

It is designed to cut bills as well as cover outages. Energy stored from solar or cheap off-peak hours can be used when rates are high, and AC coupling keeps compatible rooftop solar producing during a grid outage, with Rapid Shutdown support for solar safety. Fast charging brings the battery to roughly 80% in about two hours.

Capacity grows to 73.4kWh across seven batteries, two units can be paired for 20,000W, and solar input scales to 12,000W. Installation is plug-and-play and does not require a panel upgrade, since it can charge from an ordinary 120V outlet as well as 208V/240V service. The inverter is certified to UL 1741 and the battery to UL 1973.

This system carries a 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, covering both the generator and the battery.

Does the mygrid 10k send power back to the grid?
No. its controller prevents any backfeed to the grid.
Do i need to upgrade my electrical panel?
Not usually. the system can recharge from a standard 120v outlet as well as 208v/240v service.
