AM120

This Power Pod is an expansion battery for the Nature's Generator Standard 1800. It adds 1200Wh of AGM storage, 200W of extra solar input and 150W of wind input to the system, which translates into longer runtime for lights, a refrigerator, or whatever else you are keeping alive during an outage.

Installation is a plug-in rather than a wiring job: the expansion cord connects the pod to the generator or to another pod, and a compartment in the top of the case stores that cord when it is not in use. Five LED indicators on the front show charge status and battery level at a glance, and the pod has its own charge controller and low-battery protection built in.

Like any lead acid battery, it should be kept plugged in or recharged every four months if it is sitting unused.
