The Naturnest 270 Plus X-TEND Awning is the telescoping-arm version of the 270 Plus, mounted on the passenger side. Extending the rafter arms opens 139.9 sq ft (13 m2) of shade, about 10.7 sq ft more than the standard 270 Plus, and the arms retract to a 66.9-inch packed length so the awning takes up less room on the roof rack.

It deploys in roughly 30 seconds and stands freestanding in calm conditions, so a quick trail stop does not turn into a setup project. The canopy is 420D waterproof Oxford fabric built for repeated overland use, and six LED lights along the frame keep the area lit for cooking or sorting gear after dark.

When the wind picks up, six support poles, six guy ropes, and six ground stakes are included to tie everything down.

Naturnest provides a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase covering defective parts. Replacement parts are supplied at no cost, though installation is the customer's responsibility.

The warranty applies to products bought directly from Naturnest or an authorized dealer, and proof of purchase is required. Second-hand purchases are not eligible.

It does not cover UV damage to fabric or shell, normal wear and cosmetic damage, misuse or accidents, damage from storms or high winds, cosmetic changes that do not affect function, or unauthorized repairs and modifications.
