The Phoenix Domes Hybrid Glass Panorama Window Upgrade transforms the standard clear PVC panorama window on your dome into a permanent, high-performance double pane glass installation with a precision-welded aluminum frame. This is one of the most impactful upgrades you can make — it delivers crystal-clear views, drastically improved thermal performance, zero maintenance, and an indefinite lifespan compared to PVC film.

The glass unit is built with 5+9+5mm Low-E, argon-filled tempered glass — the same specification used in modern residential glazing. With a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.3, it blocks 70% of solar heat while maintaining excellent natural light transmission, making the dome significantly more comfortable in both summer and winter. The precision-welded aluminum frame integrates seamlessly with Phoenix Domes geodesic structures.

In combination with the Glass Skylight Upgrade and an interior wood paneling kit, a hybrid dome can perform and feel like a cabin or a well-insulated home, while still being far more affordable and faster to build than a conventional structure. Available from 5M through 10M — select the size that matches your dome.
