The Renogy 100/175/200W N-Type Solar Panel is a rigid, aluminum-framed module for anyone building a fixed solar array on an RV, van, cabin roof, shed, or ground mount. It uses N-Type cells rated at up to 25% cell efficiency, a newer technology that holds its output better in high heat and weak light than older PERC cells and loses less capacity as the years go by.

Three sizes let you match the panel to the space you have. The 200W version gives the most power per mounting spot, the 100W version slips into tighter roof sections or lets you grow a system one panel at a time, and the 175W sits in between. Multi-panel packs of the same module are available for people wiring a complete array in a single project, and the panels are suited to both 12V and 24V battery systems.

Durability is built into every layer, from the EVA and POE encapsulation to the tempered low-iron glass and reinforced frame corners. The panel is rated to handle heavy wind and snow loads, while its sealed junction box and waterproof connectors keep moisture out, so it can stay mounted outdoors and on the road through years of vibration and changing weather.

Can i use this panel on a 12v or 24v system?
Yes. renogy lists the n-type panel as compatible with both 12v and 24v battery systems.
What do i need besides the panel to build an off-grid system?
You need a charge controller to regulate the current, a battery to store the energy, adaptor kit cables to connect the panel to the controller, and tray cables to connect the controller to the battery.
How do i pick a charge controller for the 200w panel?
The 200w panel has an open-circuit voltage of 37.44v. for a single panel or panels wired in parallel, choose a controller with a maximum pv input voltage of at least 40v. for panels in series, the controller's maximum pv input voltage should be at least 40v multiplied by the number of panels in the string.
Should i wire multiple panels in series or parallel?
Series wiring adds the panels' voltages together while current stays the same as one panel. parallel wiring adds the currents together while voltage stays the same as one panel. many systems combine both to match the controller and battery bank.
Why might my panel produce less than its rated power?
Output drops with indirect sunlight, cloud cover, high temperatures, and dirt or stains on the glass. keeping the panel clean and well angled toward the sun helps.
What warranty comes with the panel?
A 10-year warranty plus a 25-year guarantee of at least 80% power output.
