The Renogy 12.8V 100Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery comes in two versions for different jobs: a Core Mini with DuoHeat self-heating for cold-climate RV, van, and off-grid use, and a Core Series trolling motor battery with built-in Bluetooth for boats and fishing setups. Both store 100Ah of LiFePO4 capacity and are rated for 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, far outlasting lead-acid batteries of similar capacity.

The self-heating Mini packs its capacity into a Group 22NF case. Two heating pads totaling 110W turn on automatically when the cells drop to 41°F (5°C) and switch off at 50°F (10°C), letting the battery accept charge in temperatures down to -22°F (-30°C). It is IP65-rated, carries more than 25 safety protections with a 100A BMS, and supports series and parallel connection up to 4S4P.

The trolling motor version uses a Group 24 case, weighs about half as much as a comparable lead-acid battery, and supplies 150A continuous discharge with 300A peaks, so it can drive 12V to 36V trolling motors when batteries are wired in series. It is sealed to IP67 for marine conditions and uses Bluetooth 5.3 to show live battery data in the Renogy app, with a low-temperature charging cut-off built into its BMS.

When do i need the self-heating version?
Standard lithium batteries stop charging at 32°f (0°c). the self-heating core mini warms its cells so it can charge in temperatures down to -22°f (-30°c).
How does the self-heating work?
When the cell temperature drops to 41°f (5°c), the heating pads turn on automatically, and they shut off once the cells reach 50°f (10°c).
Does either version support bluetooth?
The tm version has bluetooth 5.3 built in for use with the renogy app. the self-heating mini has no built-in bluetooth but works with renogy's external monitoring devices.
Can i wire these batteries in series?
Yes. renogy 12v batteries of the same model can be connected in series for 24v, 36v, or 48v systems. the tm version supports up to 4 in series, 4 in parallel, or 16 in series-parallel.
