The Renogy 12V 100Ah Deep Cycle AGM Battery is a sealed, maintenance-free lead-acid battery sized for RVs, trailers, boats, and small off-grid solar systems. Its absorbent glass mat construction locks the electrolyte into fiberglass separators, so there is nothing to top off and no risk of acid spills during travel.

Renogy's upgraded electrolyte keeps the battery discharging reliably from -4°F up to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C), allowing it to keep working in freezing weather without added temperature compensation. It can also supply a strong burst of current for a few seconds to get demanding appliances started.

You can build a larger bank by wiring batteries in series without a fixed limit or up to four in parallel, using batteries that match in type, voltage, and capacity. To protect cycle life, avoid draining the battery below 50% state of charge and select the SLD setting on your charge controller.

What is an agm battery?
Agm (absorbent glass mat) batteries are a type of sealed lead-acid battery where the electrolyte is absorbed into a fiberglass mat separator. this makes the battery maintenance-free, spill-proof, and ideal for rv, marine, and off-grid use.
Can i discharge the battery to 0% and then recharge it again?
No. to avoid shortening the battery’s cycle life, you should not discharge the battery below 50%. when storing the battery, fully charge it and recharge every three months.
What is the best way to place and store this battery?
This agm battery should be placed upright during normal use. it may be placed on its side only when necessary, but should never be placed upside down. store it in a dry, cool area (5°f to 104°f / -15°c to 40°c), fully charged, and recharge every three months.
Can this battery be used at freezing temperatures?
Yes, within its rated temperature limits. discharge temperature range is -4°f to 140°f (-20°c to 60°c). charge temperature range is 32°f to 122°f (0°c to 50°c). using the battery outside these temperature limits may shorten lifespan.
Do the batteries come with terminal bolts? what size are they?
Yes. the renogy 12v 100ah agm battery includes two m8 x 1.25 x 20 mm terminal bolts.
Can i connect batteries in series and in parallel?
Yes. you can connect up to 4 batteries in parallel. there is no limit to the number of batteries in series, as long as the system is engineered safely.
Can i connect a 100ah battery to a 200ah battery?
No. all batteries in the same bank must have the same capacity (ah), voltage (v), and battery type. mixing sizes or chemistries causes imbalance and reduces performance.
When using a charge controller, which battery type should i select?
Select the sld (sealed lead-acid) or sealed agm battery option on your charge controller.
Is this battery compatible with renogy one?
No. this agm battery is not compatible with renogy one. a 500a battery monitor with shunt (sold separately) is recommended for monitoring.
Can this battery be used in series to build a 24-volt system?
Yes. this 12v agm battery can be used in a 24v system by wiring two batteries in series. parallel connections support up to 4 batteries.
