The Renogy 120V 30 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch shifts your AC loads from one power source to another on its own, so there is no need to flip a manual switch when a source becomes available or drops out. It is designed to fit a wide range of applications that rely on more than one source of 120V power.

It uses a relay-based design with a built-in time delay of roughly 20 to 30 seconds before the transfer takes place.
