No. renogy 12v pro series batteries cannot be connected in series. they are designed for parallel expansion only.
How many renogy 12v 100ah pro series batteries can i connect at most?
You can connect up to 8 batteries in parallel, expanding total storage to 10.24kwh. for optimal performance, use batteries of the same model and similar capacity.
How does the self-heating function of the battery work?
Each battery must receive a stable charge current of more than 4a. the self-heating feature activates automatically when the battery temperature falls below 41°f (5°c) and stops when it exceeds 50°f (10°c).
How long will the renogy pro series lithium iron phosphate battery last?
This battery delivers up to 5000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (dod). it includes a double active safety system, ul94 v-0 fire-retardant casing, ip67 protection, and a rugged design for long-term reliability.
What does the double active safety system mean?
It combines 60+ advanced bms protections with active backup protection. this dual layer of safety prevents hazards such as overvoltage, overheating, and internal faults.
What is active backup protection?
Active backup protection responds instantly to risks using self-control fuses. these act faster than conventional fuses, providing immediate protection even if other components fail.
Can i pair a bluetooth module with this battery?
No module is needed. this battery includes built-in bluetooth. simply download the renogy app to monitor real-time data. you can also use a 500a battery monitor with shunt (sold separately).
How do i recharge my lifepo4 batteries?
You can recharge using solar panels, a dc-dc battery charger, or an ac-dc charger. we recommend using a lithium-compatible charge controller or charger.
Is this battery compatible with renogy one?
Yes. it is fully compatible with renogy one m1 and renogy one core for seamless monitoring and integration.
