The Renogy 12V 104Ah Super Slim Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery from the REGO Series is only 2.4 inches (61 mm) thick, so it can slip behind seats, under floors, and into other tight spaces in trucks, vans, and overland builds. It replaces heavy lead-acid batteries with a lighter LiFePO4 pack that frees up both room and payload.

The battery pairs LiFePO4 chemistry with solid-state cells that cut liquid electrolyte by about 70%, and Renogy states the cells will not swell or burn even when punctured or crushed. A battery management system with more than 60 protections and a self-control fuse with active backup protection add another layer of safety. It is rated for 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, and one battery can deliver 200A continuously, enough to support a 2000W inverter.

Built-in Bluetooth sends live battery data to the Renogy app, and CAN ports allow communication with compatible devices. The IP67 enclosure and UL94 V-0 fire-resistant rating suit rough outdoor use, the battery can accept a reduced charge down to 14°F (-10°C), and the included bracket kit supports several mounting orientations. Multiple batteries can be combined for larger 12V, 24V, or 48V systems.

Can these batteries be wired in series for a 48v system?
Yes. up to four rego 12v 104ah super slim batteries can be connected in series to build a 48v system.
Is the electrolyte fully solid-state?
No. renogy notes that no 100% solid-state batteries are currently on the market; these cells use about 90% solid electrolyte and 10% liquid electrolyte.
Can the battery really be charged in freezing temperatures?
Yes. it can accept up to 10a (0.1c) of charge down to 14°f (-10°c) without triggering bms protection.
How many batteries can i connect in parallel?
Up to 16 in parallel, for roughly 21kwh at 12v. use batteries of the same model and similar capacity.
What is the maximum output?
A single battery can discharge up to 200a (2c), which is enough to run a 2000w inverter for essential appliances.
Do i need a separate bluetooth module?
No. bluetooth is built in and sends real-time data to the renogy app. the battery also has can ports for communication with compatible devices.
How should i recharge it?
Solar, a dc-dc charger, or an ac-dc charger all work. renogy recommends using a controller or charger that is compatible with lifepo4 batteries.
Is the battery waterproof?
Yes. it is ip67-rated and can be submerged up to 1 meter (39.37 in) deep for up to 30 minutes.
