The Renogy 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter converts power from a 12V battery bank into 120V AC so you can run everyday appliances and electronics in a van, truck, RV, fifth wheel, cabin, or remote getaway. It supplies 2,000 watts continuously and can deliver a 4,000-watt surge to get demanding devices started.

The pure sine wave output closely resembles grid power, so laptops, audio gear, and appliances with motors run quietly and efficiently instead of buzzing or running hot. Efficiency stays above 90%, and GFCI plus a set of electronic protections add a layer of safety for both the inverter and the equipment plugged into it.

Multiple AC outlets and a USB port provide convenient connection points, and a wired remote lets you control the unit from a distance. The inverter works with a range of 12V battery types and is ETL certified. It is offered on its own or bundled with a Renogy 200Ah deep cycle AGM battery for a ready-to-assemble power setup.

Can i use the inverter with a 24v system?
No. this inverter only works with a 12v battery system. it is not compatible with 24v systems.
Can i use this inverter to charge my batteries?
No. the renogy 12v dc to 120v ac inverter only converts dc power to ac power. to charge batteries, use a renogy pure sine wave inverter charger available in 12v 2000w or 12v 3000w models.
What size inverter should i buy?
Choose an inverter with a wattage higher than the total load of devices you will run simultaneously. example: a 500w fridge + 800w ac = 1300w total, so a 2000w or 3000w inverter is recommended. ensure your inverter matches your battery voltage (12v) and verify installation space and ventilation needs. renogy inverters include remote control and dc home app support for convenient operation.
Do i need modified sine wave or pure sine wave?
Modified sine wave inverters are cheaper but may cause issues with sensitive electronics. pure sine wave inverters provide clean, stable power similar to grid electricity. they run motors, microwaves, audio equipment, and electronics more efficiently, with reduced noise, cooler operation, and fewer glitches.
How do i hook up the inverter? what size cable should i use, and is it included?
Use the thickest and shortest cables possible when connecting to the battery. this inverter includes two pairs of 4awg 3ft cables with battery terminals for proper installation.
Can this inverter work with lithium batteries?
Yes, as long as the lithium battery is rated for 12v applications.
