The Renogy 2000W 24V Pure Sine Wave Inverter turns the DC power stored in a 24V battery bank into clean 120V AC power for household appliances and electronics in mobile and off-grid systems. Running at 24V means a system needs fewer batteries and less wiring than a comparable 12V setup, which helps keep installations compact and cost-effective.

It supplies 2000W of continuous power and can surge to 4000W for two seconds to start motors and other inductive loads. The pure sine wave output closely mirrors grid power, with total harmonic distortion under 3%, so sensitive devices run smoothly and quietly. Inverter efficiency reaches 92%, thermally controlled fans manage heat, and the unit is certified to UL458 including the marine supplement. Two AC outlets plus a hardwire terminal block cover a range of connection needs, and an included remote switch lets you turn the inverter on and off from a distance.

Can this inverter be used safely on a boat?
Yes, with proper installation: ground the inverter to the boat's electrical ground, install gfci outlets on the ac side, and use correctly rated fuses and breakers on both the dc and ac sides.
What is the difference between a modified sine wave and a pure sine wave inverter?
Modified sine wave inverters cost less but produce a rougher waveform that can cause noise and inefficiency. a pure sine wave inverter delivers a clean waveform similar to grid power, so inductive loads run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently.
How many appliances can i run at once?
You can run any combination of loads totaling up to 2000w, such as a refrigerator and a microwave together.
Why does the inverter trip?
Common causes include overloading, inductive loads with high startup current, short circuits, or loose wiring.
What size battery bank should i use?
It depends on your loads and how long you need to run them. refer to the user manual for sizing guidance.
What warranty is included?
Renogy provides a 1-year material and workmanship warranty.
