The Renogy 200W 12V Essential Solar Panel Kit gives RV travelers and outdoor enthusiasts a way to keep small electronics running on the road without depending on a generator. It combines two 100W N-Type solar panels with an Adventurer 30A PWM charge controller, cabling, connectors, and mounting hardware chosen specifically for RV installations.

The Adventurer controller uses a flush-mount design for a clean, minimal installation and charges the battery in four stages for fast, efficient, and safe charging, while protecting against overcharging, overloads, short circuits, and reverse polarity. An included BT-1 Bluetooth module lets you monitor and adjust the system remotely. The panels feature corrosion-resistant aluminum frames rated for 2400Pa wind and 5400Pa snow loads, EL-tested cells with no hot-spot heating, and IP65 junction boxes, and the system can be expanded to 400W of solar as your needs grow.

What do i need to complete an off-grid system with this kit?
The kit provides panels, a charge controller, cabling, and mounts. you also need a battery to store the power the panels produce.
What is the difference between off-grid and on-grid?
On-grid systems are connected to the utility grid, while off-grid systems operate independently and store energy for later use, so they are unaffected by grid outages.
Can i expand this kit?
Yes. renogy lists the kit as expandable to 400w of solar panels.
Why might my panels underproduce?
Indirect sunlight, rising temperatures, cloud cover, and dirt on the panel glass can all lower power output.
Should i connect the panels in series or parallel?
Series wiring adds the panels' voltages while current stays the same; parallel wiring adds current while voltage stays the same.
Can i monitor the system remotely?
Yes. the included bt-1 bluetooth module allows remote monitoring and control.
