The Renogy 3000W 12V Pro Pure Sine Wave Inverter with EcoSleep Mode is a high-output inverter for RVs, boats, and off-grid setups that need to run heavy appliances from a 12V battery bank. It supplies a steady 3000W with surge capacity up to 6000W, which gives it the headroom to start inductive loads such as air conditioners.

Safety and efficiency are central to its design. Pre-charging technology eases the inrush of current at startup to protect the battery, and dual-polarity reverse connection protection guards the inverter if the battery leads are accidentally swapped. When no load is drawing power, EcoSleep mode drops idle consumption to under 10W, helping stretch battery capacity during long stays off the grid.

The inverter provides two AC outlets plus a hardwire AC terminal, and it supports RS485 and RV-C communication for integrating into an RV system. It can be monitored through the Renogy app and the Renogy ONE Core display, and a wired remote control is included for operating it from a more convenient location.

What size battery bank should i pair with this 3000w 12v inverter?
Renogy suggests two 12v 200ah batteries or a single 12v 400ah battery. many 100ah batteries cap continuous current at 100a, so two of them together may only support roughly 2000w before the bms shuts down.
Is this inverter suitable for use on a boat?
It includes several safety measures relevant to marine use, including gfci protection against electric shock, an ip21 water protection rating, and reverse connection protection. breakers should be used with properly sized wiring, and bluetooth and rv-c allow system monitoring.
How much can i run at the same time?
You can run any combination of loads totaling 3000w or less, such as a refrigerator and a microwave together. going above 3000w combined can trip the inverter's protection.
Why do my appliances trip the inverter?
Common causes include overloading with too many devices, high startup current from inductive loads like air conditioners or refrigerators, a short circuit in an appliance, or loose wiring. check all breakers and connections for tightness if tripping occurs.
What is the benefit of pure sine wave over modified sine wave?
A pure sine wave inverter produces smooth power similar to the utility grid, so motors and microwaves run more efficiently, quieter, and cooler. modified sine wave output is choppier and can cause noise, inefficiency, or overheating in inductive loads.
How much power does ecosleep mode use?
In sleep mode, no-load power consumption is under 10w.
