The Renogy 3000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter turns the DC power stored in a 12V battery bank into clean 120V AC electricity, making it a solid fit for vans, semi-trucks, fifth wheels, cabins, and other off-grid spaces where household appliances still need to run. It can sustain 3,000 watts of continuous load and briefly handle surges up to 6,000 watts, which gives it enough headroom for tools, microwaves, and other equipment with high startup demands.

Because its output closely matches the waveform of utility power, sensitive electronics and motor-driven devices run the way they were designed to, without the humming, extra heat, or inefficiency that a modified sine wave unit can cause. The inverter converts power at better than 90% efficiency, uses a thermally controlled fan to stay cool in demanding conditions, and is housed in a sturdy metal case built for rough environments.

It pairs naturally with Renogy solar panels, charge controllers, and batteries as part of a complete off-grid setup, and the included wired remote lets you switch it on or off without reaching the unit itself.

Can i use the inverter with a 24v system?
No. this inverter is designed for 12v battery systems only and cannot be used with 24v systems.
Can i use this inverter to charge my batteries?
No. this inverter converts 12v dc to 120v ac only. to charge batteries, you need an inverter charger such as the renogy 12v 1000w or 12v 2000w pure sine wave inverter charger.
What size inverter should i buy?
Choose an inverter rated for at least 1.5 times the total wattage of the devices you plan to run at the same time. for example, a 500w fridge and 800w ac unit total 1300w, so you should use at least a 1300w or larger inverter. renogy 2000w or 3000w inverters are recommended for such loads.
Do i need modified sine wave or pure sine wave?
Pure sine wave (psw) inverters deliver cleaner, more stable power, suitable for sensitive electronics, appliances with motors, and audio equipment. modified sine wave (msw) inverters are cheaper but may cause devices to run hotter, less efficiently, or noisily.
How do i hook up the inverter, and what size cable should i use?
Always use the thickest wire possible and keep cables as short as possible. this inverter does not include battery cables. renogy recommends using 4/0 awg cables for best performance and safety.
Can this inverter work with lithium batteries?
Yes. as long as the lithium battery is a 12v battery, it is compatible with this inverter.
What is the function of a battery inverter?
A battery inverter converts dc power from batteries or solar systems into ac power that can run household appliances and electronics.
What's the difference between a modified sine wave inverter and a pure sine wave inverter?
Msw inverters produce a rougher waveform that may cause interference or reduced efficiency in sensitive electronics. psw inverters produce a smooth waveform similar to grid power, ideal for inductive loads, motors, microwaves, and electronics.
Why do my electrical appliances trip?
Appliances can trip the inverter due to overloading, high inductive startup currents, short circuits, or loose wiring. ensure your device loads do not exceed inverter capacity and check for secure, clean electrical connections.
What can i power with the renogy 3000w 12v pure sine wave inverter?
Any device with a total continuous load of 3000w or less, such as portable freezers, microwaves, and power tools. avoid running devices simultaneously if their combined load exceeds 3000w.
Can i monitor this inverter with a bluetooth module?
No. this inverter does not support bluetooth monitoring, and no compatible bluetooth module is available.
