The Renogy 800W 12V Complete Solar Panel Kit with 3.6kWh Battery is an all-in-one off-grid package for cabins, RVs, vans, and remote setups that need to keep essentials like refrigerators, lights, routers, and small appliances powered. It combines four 200W N-Type solar panels, a Rover 60A MPPT charge controller, and three 12V 100Ah lithium batteries for 3.6kWh of storage, together with the mounting hardware, fuses, and cabling to connect it all.

The N-Type panels use a 16-busbar design in a sturdy aluminum alloy frame made to handle rough roads, and the Rover 60A controller manages charging with full electronic protection in a sealed, corrosion-resistant housing. Battery options include Pro Smart lithium batteries with Bluetooth and self-heating, which come with a BT-2 Bluetooth module for app monitoring, or Core Mini lithium batteries whose dual 110W heating pads warm the cells quickly in cold weather.

To run standard household AC devices, you can choose a configuration with a 3000W 12V pure sine wave inverter with GFCI protection, or a REGO 3000W pure sine wave inverter charger that also charges the batteries from AC power and reports live data in the Renogy DC Home app. Inverter configurations add the heavy-duty fuse set and battery inverter cables needed for the AC side of the system.

What does a complete off-grid solar system need?
Solar panels, a charge controller to regulate the current, batteries to store the energy, adaptor cables from the panels to the controller, and tray cables from the controller to the batteries. this kit includes all of these.
What is the difference between off-grid and on-grid?
An on-grid system is tied to the utility grid, while an off-grid system is independent and stores the energy it produces in batteries for later use, so grid outages do not affect it.
When do i need an inverter?
Choose an inverter configuration if you want to run standard household ac appliances such as a coffee maker or tv. the inverter converts 12v dc battery power to 120v ac.
Will this kit run my air conditioner?
Check the ac unit's power rating in watts, multiply by the hours you plan to run it to get watt-hours, divide by your location's peak sun hours, and multiply by a safety factor of 1.5 to 2 to estimate the solar wattage required. compare that to the kit's 800w array and 3.6kwh storage.
Which battery option includes bluetooth?
The pro lithium battery configurations have built-in bluetooth and include a bt-2 bluetooth module for app monitoring. the core mini batteries offer self-heating without built-in bluetooth.
What is the difference between the inverter and the inverter charger options?
The 3000w inverter converts battery power to ac. the rego 3000w inverter charger also charges the batteries from an ac source and can be monitored in the renogy dc home app.
