The Renogy Amphenol Adapter Cable (Amphenol to 3/8 in Lugs) connects equipment fitted with an Amphenol connector to a DC terminal using 3/8 in ring lugs. It is a practical link for RV and off-grid DC systems, and it is designed to be used alongside an ANL fuse in the circuit.

The Amphenol plug uses a positive locking mechanism that keeps the connection tight under the constant vibration of travel and rough roads, while its tough shell resists impact. The tinned copper conductors and IP67-rated construction stand up to spills, humidity, and a wide temperature range, and color-coded BAT+ and BAT- leads help prevent wiring mistakes.

The cable is 10AWG, rated for 70A and 600V, and comes as a pair in 5 ft or 10 ft lengths. If a terminal is ever damaged, it can be replaced with a same-size part rather than replacing the entire cable.

Does a thicker wire gauge charge faster?
Not directly. wire gauge acts like a bottleneck for current: a heavier gauge such as 4awg will not charge faster on its own, but it can carry more current and handle longer distances.
Can a damaged terminal be replaced?
Yes. replace it with a terminal of the same size. the amphenol terminal is the 70a client specification (c10-791435).
What is the current rating of this cable?
It is 10awg tinned copper wire rated for up to 70a and 600v.
Is the cable weatherproof?
Yes. it carries an ip67 rating and is built for water spills, humidity, and an operating range of -40°c to 105°c.
What lengths are available?
The cable comes as a pair in 5 ft (rpc0510ar) or 10 ft (rpc1010ar) lengths.
