The Renogy REGO 12V 3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger combines a high-output inverter and a smart battery charger in one unit for RVs, off-grid cabins, and backup power systems. It supplies 3000W of continuous pure sine wave AC power with surges up to 9000W, enough to start and run demanding appliances from a 12V battery bank.

When shore power or a generator is connected, the unit switches roles and recharges your house batteries with a 4-stage charging profile (bulk, boost, float, and equalize) that helps batteries reach full charge and last longer. It supports GEL, AGM, SLA, flooded, calcium, and lithium batteries. An internal transfer relay with neutral-ground bonding moves your loads between shore and inverter power automatically, so RV power stays on without interruption.

Setup and monitoring are simple: a bright LCD with four function keys shows status and alerts and lets you adjust input voltage range and charge current, while built-in Bluetooth connects to the Renogy DC Home app or a Renogy ONE monitor. Access panels speed up wiring, and the unit is certified to UL458 (including the marine supplement), CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, and FCC Part 15 Class A. Allow extra space around the body for cable grommets and wiring during installation.

Can i run this inverter from two 100ah lithium batteries?
You can, but many 100ah lithium batteries have a bms that limits continuous discharge to around 100a each. two such batteries may only deliver roughly 200a, which supports about 2000w rather than the full 3000w.
Can i monitor the inverter charger from my phone?
Yes. it has built-in bluetooth, so no separate module is needed. use the renogy dc home app, or connect it to a renogy one monitor.
What kind of generator can charge through this unit?
It accepts sine wave ac input from a utility source or a generator within 90 – 138vac and 40 – 70hz. an inverter-type generator is a good match for its electronics, and charging can draw a significant amount of generator power.
Which battery types does it support?
Gel, agm, sla, flooded, calcium, and lithium batteries, plus a user-defined setting.
How fast does it switch between shore power and inverter power?
The internal transfer switch changes over in about 10ms and is rated for 30a continuous and 40a maximum.
How much charging current does it provide?
Charge current is adjustable from 5a to 75a in 5a steps.
