The Renogy REGO 12V 60A MPPT Solar Charge Controller is a compact, screen-free controller for 12V systems in RVs, vans, boats, and small off-grid setups that run up to 800W of solar. Instead of a built-in display, it relies on integrated Bluetooth, so you can watch solar production, adjust settings, and check battery status from your phone in the Renogy DC Home app.

Plug-and-play Anderson-style connections cut installation time and take up less space than traditional screw terminals, and the MPPT algorithm tracks panel output with up to 99% efficiency to get the most energy from your array. A built-in battery protect unit and a long list of electronic protections safeguard the batteries, panels, and wiring, while integrated thermal management keeps charging steady when the unit runs warm.

The controller handles AGM, sealed, gel, flooded, and lithium batteries, plus a user mode for custom charge voltages set through the app. An included temperature sensor provides accurate charge compensation, and the unit can also connect by wire to a Renogy monitoring panel. Options with a 5ft or 10ft 6AWG Anderson adapter cable are available.

The controller has no screen, so how do i see solar production?
It has built-in bluetooth, so you can pair it with the renogy dc home app on your phone. it can also connect by wire to a compatible renogy monitoring panel.
Can i charge a 24v battery bank with it?
No. it only works with 12v battery systems, including sealed lead-acid, agm, flooded, lithium, and gel batteries.
How much solar can i connect?
Up to 800w, with a maximum input voltage of 100v. combine similar panels and stay under the voltage limit.
What should i know when wiring it?
Mount the controller vertically with 150mm of clearance for heat dissipation, and connect the battery first, then the solar panels.
What is the user battery type?
It lets advanced users set their own charge parameters. with the battery knob set to user, you program the voltages in the renogy dc home app.
