The Renogy REGO 3000W 12V Pure Sine Wave HF Inverter Charger with Split-phase Design is an all-in-one power center for RVs and off-grid systems that need to accept split-phase shore power. It converts 12V battery power into 3000W of pure sine wave AC, charges the battery bank from shore power or a generator, and switches between sources automatically, all in a single compact unit that saves installation space.

Its high-frequency design keeps the unit compact and quiet, with operating noise under 47dB. When connected to 120V shore power in bypass mode, it can pass through up to 6000W, giving you more usable power than its inverter rating alone. The charger supplies up to 150A and is adjustable in 5A steps, and the unit continues to run at full load up to 113°F before it needs to derate, which helps in hot climates.

Built-in Bluetooth lets you check and adjust settings through the DC Home app or a Renogy ONE M1 or Core monitor, and the inverter also supports RV-C communication. The included battery temperature sensor supports lithium battery activation and heating, and a wired remote on a 16.4 ft cable is provided for convenient control. Note that 240VAC output is only available when the unit is fed by a split-phase 120/240VAC source.

How is this model different from the earlier rego 3000w inverter charger?
This model (riv1230rch-sps) uses a high-frequency design, while the earlier riv1230rcl-1ss operates at standard frequency. the newer unit also accepts north american 120/240vac split-phase input and supports a higher load capacity.
Does it work with the dc home app and renogy one m1 or core?
Yes. built-in bluetooth allows monitoring and control through the dc home app or a renogy one m1 or core monitor, and the unit also supports the rv-c protocol.
When plugged into shore power, where does the inverter's own power draw come from?
In ups mode, the unit's self-consumption comes from shore power. in battery priority mode, it draws that power from the battery.
Is load capacity limited to 3000w in bypass mode?
No. with 120vac input in bypass mode, the unit can deliver up to 6000w at a rated 50a, more than its normal inverter output.
What can i change through the app?
You can switch on eco mode and adjust settings like charging current and battery protection parameters. turning the inverter off through the app is not supported.
Can i get 240vac output?
Only when the inverter charger is supplied by a split-phase 120/240vac source.
