The Renogy ShadowFlux 120W/200W N-Type Anti-Shading Solar Panel is a rigid solar panel built to keep producing power when part of it falls into shade. On a typical panel, a single shaded cell can drag down the output of the whole module; ShadowFlux uses cell-level shadow management so that shadows from roof vents, antennas, power lines, tree branches, or bird droppings cost far less power, delivering up to 85% more output in partial shade.

The panel uses 16-busbar N-Type cells with 25% cell efficiency, which perform well in high heat and weak light. Its compact footprint packs a lot of wattage into limited space, making it a strong match for RV and van roofs where vents and other rooftop equipment leave only small mounting areas. The high operating voltage works with both 12V and 24V battery systems when paired with a standard MPPT charge controller.

An IP67 rating protects the panel against rain, snow, dust, and road vibration. The 120W size is available in 2-panel and 4-panel packs, and a 600W 12V anti-shading kit option is built around three 200W ShadowFlux panels for a ready-to-install system.

How does shadowflux handle shade better than a regular panel?
On a conventional panel, one shaded cell can cause a large power drop. shadowflux uses cell-level shadow management so the rest of the panel keeps generating power when part of it is shaded.
What kinds of shade is it designed for?
