The Scott Aerator Skyward Fountain for medium residential ponds throws a wide cone of water with a tall center column rising through the middle of it, and the pattern scales with the motor fitted. The ¾ hp produces a display 25 feet high and 30 feet across, the 1 hp reaches 30 feet high and 35 feet across, and the 1½ hp opens up to 40 feet high and 50 feet across. On every model the center column's height can be adjusted.

Each motor is a stainless-steel submersible unit that runs oil-free at 3,450 rpm on single-phase 60 Hz power, so there is no oil to change, no routine servicing to schedule, and no control box to mount on shore. Flow rises with motor size, from 60 gallons per minute on the ¾ hp to 75 on the 1 hp and 90 on the 1½ hp. Three-phase and 50 Hz builds are available for installations that require them.

Running the fountain continuously keeps the pond in motion and raises its oxygen level, which is the practical reason most owners leave these units in service rather than running them only for show. The fountains are suitable for fresh and salt water, are designed for 24-hour-a-day operation, and are built by Scott Aerator in Holland, Michigan.

The ¾ hp and 1 hp motors are offered in 115 or 230 volts, while the 1½ hp is built as a 230-volt unit only. A 115-volt motor needs to be within 100 feet of the main breaker; past that, the 230-volt version is the right choice. Included cord length and gauge vary by model, and 100, 150, 200 and 250-foot cords can be specified instead. Optional LED light sets in color-changing or Night Glo styles, in two- or four-light configurations, can be ordered with the fountain or added later. A GFCI is required, and power should be disconnected whenever swimmers are present.

Scott Aerator covers this unit with a five-year warranty against motor failure and a one-year warranty against factory defects on all other components, extended to the original owner from the date of purchase.

Warranty service is handled at the factory. Contact Adventure Motion support with your order number before sending anything in and we will start the claim.

Damage from improper wiring, running the unit without a GFCI, operating it outside its rated voltage, freezing in a dry unit, or physical impact is not covered.

Which motor size suits the pond?
Depth decides first: the ¾ hp needs 40 inches of water, the 1 hp needs 44 inches, and the 1½ hp needs 50 inches. within that limit, a larger motor gives a taller and wider spray and more flow.
Can the spray height be adjusted?
Yes. the center column is height adjustable on all three motor sizes.
Is a control box needed?
No. the oil-free submersible motor runs without one, but the circuit supplying it must be gfci protected.
When should the 230-volt motor be chosen?
Whenever the fountain will sit more than 100 feet from the main breaker. the 1½ hp is only produced as a 230-volt unit.
What anchoring hardware must be supplied?
Two nylon ropes on every model, plus two weights or concrete blocks matched to the motor: 20 pounds each for the ¾ hp, 35 pounds for the 1 hp, and 45 pounds for the 1½ hp.
How long is the cord that ships with the fountain?
The ¾ hp includes 70 feet and the 1 hp and 1½ hp include 100 feet. cords of 100, 150, 200 and 250 feet can be ordered in place of the standard length.
