The Scott Aerator Tripod Mount is a freestanding stainless steel base that stands on the bottom of a pond or lake and carries an AquaSweep Muck Blaster or De-Icer where there is no dock to mount one on. It solves two problems at once: it gives shoreline properties without a dock a way to run these units, and it lets owners who do have a dock place the unit farther out, reaching muck that sits beyond the reach of a dock-mounted head.

The mount is designed to be repositioned rather than permanently fixed, so it can be carried to a new spot anywhere a power supply will reach and set back down on the bottom. That makes it practical to work a shoreline in sections over a season instead of treating one area and leaving the rest. Water depth at the mounting point needs to be at least 12 inches and no more than 72 inches, and the stainless construction is rated for both fresh and salt water.

The Tripod Mount is sold as the mount only; the AquaSweep or De-Icer is a separate purchase. If you plan to run a Scott Aerator Oscillator on the tripod so the unit sweeps a wider arc, the Tripod Oscillator Adaptor is required and is available as an add-on when ordering.

What's Included

  • AquaSweep Muck Blaster or De-Icer not included and sold separately
  • Tripod Oscillator Adaptor is optional and not included by default; required if you intend to run an Oscillator on the tripod
  • An assembly instruction sheet is available for the mount

  • Maximum water depth: 72 inches

No fixed warranty term is published for this item. It is covered against defects in materials and workmanship on arrival, so contact Adventure Motion support with your order number and photos if it arrives faulty or does not match what you ordered, and we will confirm coverage and handle the claim.

Normal wear and consumable service life are not covered, and neither is damage from installation outside the stated compatibility or operating conditions.

Do i need a dock to use this?
No. that is the point of the tripod. it stands freely on the bottom of the pond or lake, so it suits shorelines with no dock, and it also lets dock owners place a unit farther out than a dock mount reaches.
How deep can the water be?
The mounting point needs at least 12 inches of water and no more than 72 inches.
Which units does it fit?
It is designed for aquasweep muck blasters and de-icers. the unit itself is sold separately from the mount.
Can i run an oscillator on the tripod, and can it be used in salt water?
An oscillator can be run on the tripod, but it requires the tripod oscillator adaptor, which is an add-on rather than part of the standard mount. the mount itself is stainless steel and rated for both fresh and salt water.
Can i move it once it is set?
Yes. the mount is meant to be repositioned, so it can be relocated anywhere a power supply still reaches, which makes it practical to work different sections of shoreline over a season.
